About Me
Ted McLauchlin has been a watercolour Artist all his life and for the past 20 years has worked as a professional Photographer. His passion for the detail of photography and his love for the softness and fluidity of watercolour has lead to his mixed media project combining both. Photographic images are imaged to black and white and edited to work with a watercolour overlay. Images are then printed on 140 lbs. cold pressed papers and painted to add the colour and artistry back into the image. Reproductions are reproduced in his studio and then printed on 100% archival paper using the very finest quality Epson Ultrachrome HDX inks.

Ted is the founder of Highlander Studios in Woodstock, Ontario. He sold the business in 2016 and took his skills and talents back to Carman's Woodstock where he became the Manager. Ted is a founding member of the Woodstock Camera Club and the Oxford Photographic Arts Guild, he is an active member of Oxford Creative Connections. He is actively involved with local theatre within the county.
Ted provides photographic consultation on cameras and photographic equipment and has 35 years experience as a professional Custom and Conservation Framer. His specialties include studio reproduction photography as well as portrait photography, graphic design and digital imaging and large format photo printing
